Istanbul Airport City project is being developed in four different regions in an area that's approximately 26 million m² within land boundaries of iGA Istanbul Airport, the world's largest airport.
In this context, right next to the main terminal building, an area of 450 thousand square meters was designed under the name of "Central Area." The central area consists of hotels, offices, retail areas, social areas, park and resting areas, exhibition areas, mosque, educational facilities, and residential areas (called service apartments), and will become an accommodation and socialization area that employees from the aviation sector will benefit from. The Terminal Central Area pedestrian road connection will provide uninterrupted routes through the parking lot block and metro station, ensuring that the transportation of the employees and passengers to the region be carried out easily. The aim is to include logistics, healthcare areas, retail and office areas in the other three regions within the scope of the project.
